Consortium Spanopoulos Salvage Tugs is well-established in the marine market thanks to certain underlying principles. Nourishing a culture of excellence and attention to detail, our belief in people and teamwork, our strong focus on our customers’ requirements, together with our commitment to ethical standards, are our core values that have contributed to our success and have given us the energy to move forward. Safety is the bottom line and the end result to which all our principles converge. We are dedicated to work with all our know-how and experience for the safety of our people, our environment and any job/activity entrusted to us. Protecting the sea environment includes both the development and the implementation of plans and procedures related to the prevention and mitigation of sea pollution. In addition, for confronting incidents of sea pollution, we carefully organize and coordinate all anticipated actions, concerning the human resources and the suitable equipment required, in order to efficiently deal with such circumstances. Moreover, audits and attendance of the sea anti-pollution projects by environmental experts is taken place on spot. Furthermore, and in order all times to monitor the local and international legislation issues, specialized educational training schemes are ongoing on continual basis concerning both the seagoing and office personnel. Being such motivated in environmental issues, Spanopoulos Group sets always as primary concern the protection of the environment.

We are possessing contingency plans, experienced employees, suitable and adequate equipment (booms, oil skimmers, chemical solvents, modern absorbent materials, etc.), so as to be able to cope with sea pollution incidents. We remain in a round-the-clock readiness to deal with, but not limited to oil spills, formed by leaks derived by undersea pipelines, tankers or any other foreign source and cause, irrelevant with our shipyard premises and our production processes, that may pollute the fish and game of the surrounded environment, whereas a marine and/or offshore project is ongoing.

Our Group has also a proud background and an excessive experience in salvage and wreck removal operations. In this respect, our services can be delivered round the clock and on short notice, in any case of a marine incident occurred, by giving our best efforts to control, minimize and finally suppress sea and environmental pollution.
