Welcome to SPANOPOULOS GROUP OF COMPANIES. Our company started its development as a family business 30 years ago with great expectations to be established in the maritime field.

The beginning became by offering reliable services with tugboats and launches in the vessels that approached the port of Piraeus. At the same time, the group placed the bases for the further growth, aiming at the management of a modern and qualitative fleet of support vessels and versatile floating equipment, capable to correspond in the increased requirements of our season. In this frame, was drawn and was materialized a big investment program for the construction of modern ship yard of extent of 40.000 square meters and new work ships (floating dock, tugboats, launches, floating cranes - excavators etc.).

For the achievement of this objective, the group selected the adjacent with the permanent floating docks in Perama, position located in Kato Pounta – Ampelakia of Salamis island and it developed there a modern A’ class ship yard, named “NEW HELLENIC SHIPYARDS S.A.”, so that it exploits the advantages of enormous void of service of boats and particularly mega yachts, which passed Greece and resorted to Central Europe for dry - docking.

We strongly believe in a team work and technological change, so we always keep our employees motivated and systems updated. Our ultimate goal is to strive in acquiring 100% efficiency in all our operations as well as attaining complete customer reliability and satisfaction in all our services. This goal has been translated down into all our company’s objectives.
