A few decades ago "Spanopoulos" S.A. began as a small but promising maritime services company. Today "Spanopoulos Bros" Group of Companies, having accumulated the know-how and expanded its fleet and facilities, constitutes the leading group in the field of marine services. The Chairman and Managing Director, Ignatios Spanopoulos, along with his brother, Vice-President and Technical Manager, Michael Spanopoulos, remain the driving force of the Group, achieving an impressive rate of development and having completed more than 4,000 projects in Greece and abroad.

Over the last 20 years our Group's Chairman and Managing Director, Mr. Ignatios Spanopoulos, has been instrumental in the formulation of legislation regarding the updating of ship servicing and the implementation of port projects. He has been an elected member of the board of the Piraeus Chamber of Commerce for the last 15 years and a member of the Greek Ship Owners Union. Our Vice-President and Technical Manager, Mr Michael Spanopoulos, with his talent, ability, responsibility and experience, has proven to be a valuable asset in Group's business.

STRUCTURE & ORGANIZATION

The Administration of "Spanopoulos Bros" Group of Companies has the responsibility of: ensuring the correct management of human resources, protecting its employees and ensuring an effective working environment that will contribute to the sensitive and efficient management of employee problems.

This is implemented by:

• assigning foremen to each worksite
• informing and training our managing and technical personnel
• cooperating with public and private organizations in charge of employment issues.
